The Replay: Andrew Luck, Jim Irsay, and Deflategate
Every Friday, we post up The Replay, our weekly look at sports. It’s mostly fouls and airballs.
Wide receiver Donte Moncrief is “75 percent” sure Andrew Luck will be his quarterback when the Colts host the Patriots on Sunday, the first matchup between the two teams since Deflategate. Owner Jim Irsay puts a Luck start in the “strong likelihood” category, but isn’t “100 percent for sure.” While all of this speculation is probably just calculated obfuscation, rest assured the Patriots have called on their best man to solve the equation.
The tougher problem, of course, is trying to determine how many collective tears Patriots fans have shed this week over local airwaves. The Fan’s Dan Dakich has done his part to keep the Massholes at bay.

Game Within a Game
WTHR columnist Bob Kravitz interprets the coach-speak coming from the Colts and Patriots camps. Sidenote: If you want to enhance your viewing of Sunday’s game, follow the mentions on Kravitz’s Twitter timeline. He’s the most beloved man in New England since this guy.
God’s gift to Sunday’s game comes courtesy Dan Le Batard. The host of his own ESPN show has created a new religion based upon the teachings and example of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski called “The Church of Gronk.”
While the Church of Gronk might not be everyone’s thing, it has attracted some notable converts.
