TONIGHT: Indianapolis Youth Chorale Has Local Concert Ahead of National Show

Tonight, the Indianapolis Youth Chorale will sing to a home audience one last time before jetting off to Dallas for the national convention of the American Choral Directors Association. There are high expectations for the high-school-age group, part of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, as they have already performed with A-list singers Celine Dion, and—in front of a Super Bowl–sized audience—Kelly Clarkson.

The free concert will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church (100 W. 86th St.) at 7 p.m. It’s a chance to hear these young singers warm up for a national stage. The three-day convention begins on March 13.
