For dreamers, historians, lovers of fine leather goods, and, of course, planners, we present: The James Dant “Plan of Indianapolis” Journal. The custom notebooks are crafted exclusively for the Irvington shop by Tactile Craftworks, which imprints an 1876 map (hand-selected by store owner Tommy Dant) onto a hide and then hand-stitches it all together. The smaller (5″ by 6″) style contains 90 pages of hand-bound recycled-linen paper, while the larger size (6″ x 9″) includes a refillable option with a Moleskine notebook you can keep replacing. Write on. From $65. James Dant, 5624 E. Washington St., 317-974-9715
