Books

“I love coffee-table books,” Welch says. Her favorites include Close Up, a collection of celebrity portraits by Martin Schoeller, and Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, purchased at the MoMA in New York City.

Gallery

Welch calls this her “wall of fame.” “It’s all of the most important people in my life,” she says. “It’s the last thing I see when I go to bed, and the first thing I see when I leave in the morning.”

Frame

Purchased from Jean Easter of Easter Conservation Services, a SoBro business that preserves old frames, furniture, and art.

Photo

A snapshot of her first buying trip to Paris before opening 8 Fifteen eight years ago.

Pillows

She snagged these flowered beauties off the sales floor at 8 Fifteen.

Throw

She accessorized the sofa with an Auskin sheepskin blanket from Haus Love.

Trunk

Welch’s dad gifted her this 1920s Louis Vuitton trunk.

Couch

She bought the 18th-century Victorian piece for $2,500 from Wickliff Auctioneers in Carmel. “When we added on to the house, we actually built this room for this

sofa,” Welch says.
