Of course, because Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate, an al fresco event brings a unique set of considerations. We talked to local wedding professionals for their advice on keeping cool during an outdoor event—and how to make sure your hair and makeup, food, cake, and flowers survive, too.
One of the hottest trends in weddings right now is a rustic venue. Central Indiana has plenty of them, but for our photo shoot, we headed to Lizton and The Barn at Kennedy Farm. It provided the perfect background for our gowns, accessories, and bouquets.
