Bloomington’s historic Topolgus building is getting a restaurant makeover. In late July, Topo’s 403 (403 N. Walnut St., Bloomington), an upscale Greek and Mediterranean restaurant, will open its doors. It will seat up to 70 inside, and the outside patio will seat up to 100. An upstairs private event space is also in the works. The building has been in the Topolgus family since 1947 and is part of the Indiana Register of Historic Sites and Structures. David Tallent of Bloomington’s Restaurant Tallent will serve as consulting executive chef and will help develop the menu, hire staff, and oversee the food.
Stay tuned for notes on Trisha Lindsley’s Topo’s tour. In the meantime, check out the photos!
