It’s time for another mile marker on the road to the release of The Fault in Our Stars.

We’ve already seen the unveiling of the first theatrical poster for the movie based on the novel by John Green. Now Entertainment Weekly has the first official image from the film starring Shailene Woodley as Hazel Grace and Ansel Elgort as Gus Waters.

The image shows Hazel and Gus looking deep into each other’s eyes at the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam where they are … wait. We’ll stop there for the three people who haven’t read the book that has been on The New York Times young-adult bestseller list for 57 weeks. (It’s currently No. 2 behind The Book Thief).

Over at his Tumblr page, Green gave some behind-the-scenes insight on the latest bit of marketing for his first book-turned-movie:

“I was there the day they filmed this, and after every single take, I would be like, ‘THAT WAS AWESOME! ALL MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE! MAKE THEM DO IT AGAIN!’

“p.s. People have been asking why in this shot she isn’t wearing her cannula. It will be obvious when you see the movie, but fear not: She has her cannula in the whole time.”

In case you lost track while buried under six layers of blankets this week—or if you’re a single guy who unexpectedly found himself in something known as a relationship over the holidays and you like to plan ahead—only 148 days remain until The Fault in Our Stars is released in a multiplex near you on June 9.

It’s worth noting that, in addition to The Fault in Our Stars, John Green’s other three novels are also enjoying long runs on that NYT bestseller list. In fact, his four books remain among the top six, as the 2006 debut novel Looking for Alaska sits at No. 3 after 57 weeks, Paper Towns (2009) occupies the No. 4 spot, and An Abundance of Katherines (2008) resides at No. 6.
