Among the headliners are bestselling Indianapolis author John Green, whose novel The Fault in Our Stars went to the big screen last summer. (A film based on another of his novels, Paper Towns, is set for release.)
Another new face joining the celebrities who were already set to be in Indy this month is comedian Adam Carolla, also a bestselling author as well as host of the popular podcast The Adam Carolla Show (and, along with Jimmy Kimmel, the former co-host of The Man Show on Comedy Central).
Entertainment at the Indiana Roof Ballroom event will be provided by the rock band American Authors and the Indiana a capella group Straight No Chaser.
Other notables announced for the Snakepit Ball red carpet include: Current and former Colts Andrew Luck, Pat McAfee, Robert Mathis, Dwayne Allen, and Gary Brackett; gold-medal–winning Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin; Oscar Robertson and other members of the historic 1955 Crispus Attacks High School basketball team; and former Indiana University basketball star and NBA standout Alan Henderson.
