New #LoveIndy Campaign Launches in Time for RFRA Frenzy

Pose with new ”Indy” sculptures and share your local pride
There’s a new rite of passage in town. Today, Visit Indy unveiled scripty sculptures that spell out “NDY.” Locals and visitors are supposed to make like the “I”—which means just stand there (like Visit Indy’s Chris Gahl, right), or raise your arms overhead, or figure out how to turn your hands and feet into serifs. Get creative, like all those clever tourists at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then post the photo to social media tagged #LoveIndy and a reason you do. One sculpture sits at the corner of Mass Ave and Alabama Street with a skyline backdrop, and another is in front of the Eiteljorg’s dancing-deer fountain; the settings frame a shot that will look like a postcard. The campaign debuted in time for the Final Four, but we imagine it will roll out with a lot of #IndyWelcomesAll action. We also predict this new signature pose won’t become nearly as cheesy as walking like an Egyptian at the ancient Pyramids.
