My Super Job: Frank Hancock

Name: Frank Hancock

Job: Owner of Indy-based Sports Graphics, official graphics supplier to Super Bowl XLVI

What that means: His company will design and print the thousands of signs and banners used at this year’s Super Bowl (like the ones pictured). “Anything you see for the NFL and city of Indianapolis will be designed, made, and installed by us,” he says. “There is talk of a sign covering the side of the JW Marriott.” Another large-scale proposal, he says, is to cover the all of the glass on the north side of Lucas Oil Stadium.

Point of view: Hancock was also the official printer for last year’s Super Bowl in North Texas, which he attended. “I think the biggest thing Indianapolis will learn from this experience is that they have no idea how big the train is that is coming,” he says, regarding the influx of everything from people to RVs that are going to have to be parked somewhere. “It’s going to be nuts.”

Prediction: “Honestly, I think this will be the Super Bowl all others will be judged by because of our history of doing big events.”
