» Former Goose the Market manager Chris Benedyk and wife Ally (MacNiven’s, Recess) are back in Indy after a two-year run owning and operating Milwaukee restaurant Love Handle. The couple closed the Milwaukee location in March and plans to reopen the specialty sandwich and small-plates spot in Indianapolis in a former Subway (2829 E. 10th St.) by early August.

» Opening soon: Repeal in Fletcher Place (630 Virginia Ave.) on July 11, B Spot Burgers inside the Ironworks at Keystone (2727 E. 86th St., 866-808-2534) during the weekend of July 24–26, and Dallas-based pizzeria Pie Five Pizza Co. in the former Roselyn Bakery space (48 E. Washington St.) on July 24.

» According to Eat Drink Indy, Tinker Street owners Peter George and Tom Main are planning to open an Italian restaurant inside the derelict building across the road from Tinker Street, slated to debut in about a year.
