Larry Bird wanted the Pacers and Paul George to put up video-game numbers last season. Now, it looks like he’ll get his wish. Kind of. According to reports, George will be named the cover boy of NBA 2K17‘s standard edition later today. (Retired Lakers star Kobe Bryant is mean-mugging on the Legends edition.) While the game hasn’t been rated, we’re betting it’ll be PG13. The more pressing question is whether the George-branded game can surpass the greatness of Electronic Arts’ 1988 gem Jordan Vs. Bird: One on One.
